Poker Agent



Poker agents deal with customers person-to-person. Among other things, they take deposits and make payouts. Traditionally this was done hand-to-hand in cash, and it still often is, especially at places like poker clubs and internet cafes. We generally use Moneybookers for the sites we're agents for, however (we take Neteller and PP as well). Agents also market poker sites person-to-person and sign up customers. We generally use email and Skype for that. Agents are still common in Italy, Asia, and some other parts of the world. Agent rooms are uniformly soft (think of all those players at poker clubs, internet cafes, and playing at terminals). The advantages of using an agent can include faster, easier cashouts ; higher cashout limits ; greater knowledge and better customer service; and access to rooms that would otherwise be unavailable to you (their cashier may not work for your country or they may not have one: some rooms only deal with agents).
